Talk:Cadet Wing Commander
From USAFA Folklore
Weren't there separate wing commanders for 1st Beast and 2nd Beast? --Stripe 13:30, 2 April 2007 (PDT)
- Those were group commanders. The summer wing commander, at least the one started up a couple of years ago, is over all summer programs, as I understand it. (Although someone posted summer Wg/CCs for 59 and 60, so it might be a "restarted" tradition.) And I'm not sure, but I think it's just one person all summer. - Tarfu92 19:39, 2 April 2007 (PDT)
I wasn't on wing staff, but I don't remember the wing commander having a gold sabre in the 1970s or 1980s. Has it always been that way?--80lady 13:34, 29 November 2007 (CST)
[edit] 2012
Dude--is that last entry supposed to be from c/o 2009? Because I don't think 2012 has a wing cc yet. - Tarfu92 11:45, 10 August 2008 (CDT)
[edit] Class year?
Is the class year listed the class year of the wing commander? --Shovonma17 23:56, 20 August 2008 (CDT)
- Uh, yes. That's why I made my above comment about a "2012" Wing CC. - Tarfu92 21:02, 21 August 2008 (CDT)
Wouldn't it be less confusing if you guys arranged the table by the semester/year that they served as wing CC eg. C/Jacob Schonig, Fall 2008-2009? Just a suggestion.--Shovonma17 21:36, 29 August 2008 (CDT)
