Tail End Charlie
From USAFA Folklore
Tail End Charlie is the last cadet in the graduation order of merit. Graduating cadets used to be announced and walked the stage in order of merit. Traditionally, every graduate would donate a dollar to Tail End Charlie, but this tradition ended when too many people were trying to compete for the "honor" of being last in the class. As of 19__, cadets graduating with honors went first in the ceremony, followed by the rest of the class by squadron.
