Sweepstakes

Sweepstakes was a round-robin series of stations completed by fourth class cadets during either Recognition training or Basic Cadet Training, depending on the year. The stations each had a limited task/training objective that made it easier to bring four flights at a time to the Sweepstakes area and have them rotate through each over the course of a couple of hours.

Stations varied from year to year, but have included:

• Rifle manual and assembly/disassembly station, run by Cadet Honor Guard cadre
• Knowledge/PT station, run by Sabre Drill Team cadre
• Mini-Leadership Reaction Course station, run by BCT LRC cadre
• First aid/Buddy care/Rescue carry station, run by BCT First Aid cadre
• Combat movement (low/high crawl, rush & roll) station, run by Recondo graduates
