Stanley Canyon

Stanley Canyon is one of the entrances to the backcountry, with the trailhead beginning on the Academy reservation. It is a popular trail for hikers as well as several of the Academy's intercollegiate sports teams, who often run up this trail for cardio training. The trail begins just west of the Hospital and continues past Stanley Reservoir, where it meets up with a 4x4 road that continues to the Farish Recreation Area.
