Hap's is the sports bar located in Arnold Hall, first opened in November 1990 as simply the "Sports Bar". First class cadets and occasionally second class cadets are permitted to patronize this fine establishment. Hap's is open four days a week and serves only beer (and Smirnoff Ices for the ladies). Hap's is a later incarnation of the 21 Club, which existed from 19__ to 19__. (when?)

In the 1970s, when the drinking age was 18, it was simply known as "Arnold Hall" and even doolies could buy pitchers of 3.2 beer. A-Hall was only open during the weekend.

During the late 80's the 21-club was open one day (wed?) during the school week (I don't remember it being open on the weekend). It was located on the west side, south of the main entrance, on the way to the Bowling Alley. Only upperclass were allowed. They served leftovers from the previous days dinner...and spirits. The nice part was getting supper without having to be in uniform. (I don't remember it being open when I was a senior in 1987-88...or maybe I was too busy studying)
