Post USAFA Dream Syndrome (PUDS) is the informal name given to the affliction that causes grads to dream about the Academy. In its most common form, the dreaming grad sees himself (at his present, advanced age) back at the Academy in a panic situation (late for a GR and not ready, dirty room right before a SAMI, late for class, etc.).
PUDS have been said to persist many years, until long after the victim has graduated, or even retired from the Air Force.
