Mitch's Mountain is a classic (and cadet favorite) Mitchell Hall dessert consisting basically of a huge mountain made from scoops of ice cream. Generally it is only served on special occasions, such as spirit dinners.

The Mitch's Mountain has been progressively getting smaller and weaker over time. Originally a huge pile of ice cream, worthy of its name, the mountain was eventually reduced in size to a few scoops of ice cream on some pound cake. Some reports have suggested that the current "Mountains" are essentially a piece of pound cake with a container of Neapolitan ice cream dumped on top, still in the square shape of the box--a sure sign that the apocalypse is upon us.
