Military performance average
From USAFA Folklore
A cadet's military performance average (MPA), like a grade point average is a score between 0.00 and 4.00 that is supposed to reflect that cadet's military performance over the previous semester. A cadet's MPA is calculated by averaging weighted rankings from the cadet chain of command, the Air Officer Commanding, academic instructors, coaches, and club OIC/CICs.
Maintaining above a 3.0 MPA puts a cadet on the Commandant's List for that semester. Earning below a 2.0 MPA will put a cadet on aptitude probation.
