Midget tossing
From USAFA Folklore
Midget Tossing involved selecting the smallest or lightest member of a squadron and holding a competition as to who could throw him the furthest down the hallway. The hallway was lined with mattresses for "safety". Usually the fourth class cadets' beds were sacrificed to appropriate these mattresses.
Midget tossing is officially prohibited after it resulted in spinal injury to a participant.
