[edit] LCWB
1979 was the last all-male cadet class. They refer to themselves as LCWB ("Last Class With Balls"). Their original class ring design had LCWB on it. During the fall of 1977, representatives of the Class of 1979 Ring Committee presented the design to Superintendent Lieutenant General Kenneth L. Tallman for review. The Superintendent inquired about the meaning of LCWB. Upon learning its meaning, he ordered its removal from the class ring.
