Kim Campbell

Kim "Killer Chick" Campbell, Class of 1997, made news when her A-10 was hit by enemy fire returning to base from a mission over Baghdad. The plane had hundreds of holes, lost one engine and lost the hydraulics system, disabling the plane's stabilizer and automatic flight controls. She flew the plane back in manual mode. What made the story particularly interesting to the public was Kim's appearance at 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing barely 100 pounds with blond hair when shown against her heavily damaged aircraft.
