The Ho Chi Minh Trail is the term cadets use for the ground-floor section of the Cadet Area between Mitchell Hall and the Bring Me Men Ramp, running parallel to Fairchild Hall between Fairchild and the Terrazzo. Some interpretations of this term include the extention of the path along the south side of Mitchell Hall.

Normally, fourth class cadets are prohibited from using the Ho Chi Minh Trail, as it would allow them to avoid the Terrazzo and having to run the strips and greet upperclassmen. This restriction is lifted during thunderstorms, when all personnel are required to remain clear of the Terrazzo area to avoid being struck by lightning.
