Hector Andres Negroni is a member of the Class of 1961.

Hector was a founder member of the Association of Graduates and holds AOG Life Membership #1. While at USAFA he was Head Cheerleader and founder of the Cadet Club.

He flew 14 different types of aircraft, including Fighters (F-86Hs, F-100s, P-51s, F-4s, F-15s) Transports (C-54s, EC-121Rs, and C-130s), Tankers (KB-50J), Trainers (T-34s, T-28s, T-37s, and T-33s)and Utility (U-3As). He served in the Academy's Department of Foreign Languages as an Assistant Professor of Spanish from 1967-1971. After retiring as a Colonel in 1985 he worked as a senior executive in the aerospace defense industry (McDonnell Douglas, AlliedSignal, and Honeywell).
