[edit] Alvin Kersh

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alvin_Kersh I'm pretty sure this guy had a USAFA sabre behind his desk.

[edit] "Our House"

Does anyone remember that late-80's show starring Shannen Doherty? Didn't her character get in (or maybe just apply to) the Zoo? - Tarfu92 12:59, 29 November 2006 (PST)

[edit] Fictional Zoomies

I believe that one fictional zoomie was left out. William "Buck" Rogers in episode 10 of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century", an episode called "Planet of the Amazon Women" states: this reminds me of summers in Colorado. Though he does not say outright that he attended or graduated from the Air Force Academy, to me this is enough to categorize him as a fictional zoomie. Carlos Rosario, ex-appointee to the class of 1991.

[edit] Chet Kinsman

This character is featured in several books by Ben Bova. Some titles include: Kinsman, Millennium, and The Kinsman Saga.

[edit] 1LT Michael D. Edwards, USAF

From Tom Clancy's "Red Storm Rising"

The following is from http://www.jeremygilby.com/?p=132

Edwards, is a weatherman stationed in Iceland. When the Russian’s invade Iceland, Edwards is one of the few survivors (along with a few green marines). Through Edwards eyes we see how several U.S. Counterstrikes are performed, and how innocent civilians are corralled in a wartime environment. (Iceland is neither US, nor USSR, so the Soviets are required to keep any uprisings to a minimum.) Also through Edwards, we see survivalist tactics, Recon tactics, and post-battle loss recovery. (The U.S. has to get Iceland back, if they want to control the Atlantic.)

[edit] Bruce Larkin, Air Force Cadet

Bruce Larkin, Air Force Cadet (Jack Pearl) 1962. This book follows Bruce through his first year at the Air Force Academy, learning about duty and loyalty, and solving the many problems and mysteries that he encounters.

In another book, The Young Falcons, Bruce Larkin and his cadet buddies, Pee Wee Hunt, Sam Clark, Paul Wilson, Walter Cohen, and Larry Dexter are now Third Classmen at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs Colorado. Their summer field trip was spent touring Army, Navy and Air Force installations. They returned to the Academy routine grateful to be together again after the harrowing search for Sam Clark and Larry Dexter, following their plane crash.

[edit] "Stargate SG-1"

As a TV show that has a huge Air Force presence, were any of the characters specifically labelled as USAFA grads? I know a fictional USAFA was portrayed for a whole episode, the episode entitled "Prodigy", and sometimes cadet rank pops up on some blues uniforms.
