Car rally
From USAFA Folklore
A car rally is a special kind of pep rally in which cadets (only firsties in the olden days) would drive their cars up the Bring Me Men Ramp and around the Terrazzo. In the 70s, it was common to have a car rally consisting entirely of Corvettes or Z-Cars or whatever the hot car was at the time. What made the event pass for a pep rally was that the football team and cheerleaders were in the cars.
