Cadet Squadron 19
[edit] History
CS-19 was first known as Playboy 19. In 1976, the entire squadron was disbanded, ostensibly because of "attitude" problems. All squadron members were reassigned to other squadrons, and a completely new squadron was re-assembled from cadets brought in from other squadrons. At that time, the squadron name was changed to Starship 19. In 1995, they changed again to Wolverines.
[edit] Patch Heraldry
Because the name "Playboy 19" is politically incorrect, there is generally no official recognition of this squadron's original name. It's likely that the name changed was prompted by the admission of female cadets in 1976.
