Academic probation, or "Ac Pro", is a status on which a cadet is put for failing to maintain an adequate grade point average or for having a failing grade in one or more courses. A cadet may be put on Ac Pro at the end of the semester or after Prog.

[edit] Consequences of Being on Ac Pro

  • Cadets on Ac Pro were generally allowed to serve confinements instead of tours for punishments they received.
  • Being on Ac Pro is sometimes referred to as being on the Dean's "Other" List.
  • Cadets who are currently or frequently on Ac Pro are sometime referred to as "Ac Pro Rangers".
